Event Description:

The purpose of the webinar is to provide families access to accurate public health information on COVID-19 and the vaccine.  We are seeking presenters to speak about public policy on COVID-19, the vaccine distribution plans and/or the science behind how the vaccine works.

Each month we host events on advocacy-related issues impacting the communities that we serve. Previous event topics include food accessibility, housing insecurity resources, gun violence and civic engagement. You can find a listing of our events and our Advocacy Resource Hub HERE.

Anticipated attendance:

We are expecting at a minimum 75 parents to attend

Tentative ROS:

30-minutes to provide public health insight around the COVID-19 Vaccination: Current state of Vaccines, What do you need to know for February and Spring? How the vaccine is being rolled and distributed throughout NYS/NYC

  • 6:20-6:45- Commentary from Public Health Experts
  • 6:45-7PM- Additional Q&A
