Event Description:
Education leaders, parents and stakeholders from AF BK schools. This will serve as an opportunity to convene with parents across all of our Brooklyn schools to provide an open forum for them to give information on their needs and concerns during this time of crisis. We will also be providing information on resources specifically related to food and utilities. Parents will be broken up into breakout rooms based on their scholar(s) school location.
The goal of this event is to:
- Create a shared space to discuss issues related to recent events and learn more about how we can empower our respective communities by connecting resources
- Garner and get further understanding of the needs and concerns of our parents/guardians. This forum will help inform future events and touchpoints of engagements with our AF community at-large.
- Tangible resources that parents can access around food access and utilities assistance.
