Achievement First Brooklyn Evening of Civic Engagement

This rally will feature a brief presentation on the importance of the Census provided by the NYC Office of Census and how is relates to civic empowerment as well as information regarding voter registration. We will be having a hyper focus on our Brownsville and East New York schools as those areas have lower census completion counts! This event will be open to the public and we will be inviting other schools, CBO’s and more! Following the presentation, families will have the option to go into breakout rooms to get real-time technical assistance in completing the Census! This event is open to the public! The neighborhood with the largest increase in response to the #Census wins!
